Why do I need Central Station Monitoring?

Central station monitoring is an essential part of any security solution. While many of our competitors promote cheaper alternatives such as SMS alerts sent to your mobile phone - can you really afford to take the risk? Imagine being in a cinema or on a plane with your phone switched off while your house burns down unchecked! Put simply, there is no alternative to a real person being ready to take the appropriate action 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

What Happens when my alarm goes off?

When an emergency occurs:

  1. The alarm is activated.
  2. A signal is transmitted to our central station via either telephone, IP (internet) or GPRS (mobile telephone).
  3. We verify the call – acting as a buffer between you and the security patrol and / or emergency services. This helps to prevent false alarms and ensures the situation is genuine before sending emergency responders.
  4. Based on your instructions, we take the necessary action to get the situation under control as fast as possible.
